Ally Eden (Former Poet Laureate of Fort Collins, Colorado) writes poems that are vibrant, poignant & tender. An English/Spanish interpreter by trade, Ally’s poetic ethos parallels her role as a linguist—bridging difference by way of words. Their work invites readers to conversations about current events while invoking reverence for humanity & nature. Committed to making poetry more accessible and inclusive, Ally co-founded the Gulo Gulo Poetry Collective, The Rabbit Hutch peer-learning academy, and facilitates bilingual workshops for poets and musicians, immigrants and refugees, incarcerated writers, and queer youth. At the time of publication, she is living with stage IV cancer in Fort Collins, Colorado, in a beautiful home with her incredible wife Alysia Kraft and their five pound chihuahua.
